Why DANCE?
Hackney Ballet’s mission is to
offer quality inclusive dance training
that empowers the individual. Under the tutorage of Susie King we offer enjoyable and friendly ballet and contemporary dance lessons that follow the globally recognised Royal Academy of Dance syllabus as well as the new Rambert Grades contemporary dance syllabus.
Through the lessons students will develop many skills such as co-ordination, improved posture, stamina, musicality and creativity all whilst growing their appreciation for this beautiful art form. At Hackney Ballet, we also believe that students should learn valuable skills that are transferable outside of the studio, grow in confidence and make new friends. Our lessons offer more than just pointing toes!

What we do
Students at Hackney Ballet will be given the opportunity to enter the Royal Academy of Dance and Rambert Grades examinations. These examinations are a great way of motivating and rewarding students of all ages and abilities. We believe that everyone should be able to dance and we love to celebrate our dancers achievements!
